Aqiqah Sacrifice Donation

The blessing of children is one of the greatest gifts in this world. The Aqiqah sacrifice is a form of gratitude for this blessing, performed following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). You can donate the Aqiqah sacrifices of your children through Yedi Cihan International Assistance Association, bringing smiles to the faces of our brothers and sisters who are struggling to survive. As Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned in a hadith: "Aqiqah is for the child. So, offer an Aqiqah for him and remove any hardship from him." According to a narration by Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Prophet (peace be upon him) slaughtered Aqiqah for his grandsons, Hasan and Husayn, on their seventh day of birth and named them (Tecrid-i Sarih Tercümesi, XI, 401). It is recommended to slaughter two sheep for a boy and one sheep for a girl.

The Aqiqah sacrifice is an act of worship performed as a token of gratitude for the blessing of a child. While there is no specific time for the Aqiqah sacrifice, it is preferred to perform it on the seventh day after birth or whenever possible.
